Christian Group Fights Team Over Trademark

A Christian nonprofit sports group, in Bloomington, Minn., is in a trademark battle with the Minnesota Vikings professional football team, reports the Minneapolis Business Journal.
The charity was renamed in 2002 as the Northern Lights Athlete Village, while the football team is building a new stadium with the name Northern Lights. Both have filed for federal trademarks using the name.
