Christian Peace Activists Rescued In Iraq

U.S. and British forces Thursday rescued members of the Christian Peacemaker Teams who had been kidnapped last November in Iraq, reports The Washington Post. The charity workers appeared to be unharmed.

The three men—two Canadians, and a Briton—were kidnapped by an Iraqi insurgent group. A fourth member of the charity, Tom Fox, had also been kidnapped; his body was found March 10.
