Civil-Rights Museum Cuts Staff

The International Civil Rights Center & Museum, in Greensboro, N.C., has laid off five full-time employees in an effort to cut the new museum’s operating budget, the News & Record reports. Volunteers will fill the now-empty positions, and the Museum, which opened in February, plans to hire a marketing director.
