Contest Honors Ad Campaigns That Reaped Rewards for Nonprofit Groups
March 22, 2001
Several nonprofit groups were winners in a competition to honor effective advertising.
The Advertising/Marketing Effectiveness International Awards are given each year by an organization called New York Festivals.
The award competition, which has been held since 1995, normally receives several hundred entries from nonprofit and for-profit advertising campaigns in more than 50 countries. In 2000, 88 advertisements received gold, silver, or bronze medallions, and an additional 88 received finalist certificates.
