Denver Fund To Almost Double Its Giving

Prompted in part by criticism from local nonprofit groups, the Colorado Health Foundation, in Denver, plans to give away $25-million this year, compared to $12.9-million in 2005, reports the Denver Business Journal. Several charities in the area have complained that the foundation, formerly known as the HealthOne Alliance, has not been providing enough money in grants.
