Detroit Groups Plan Merger

The University Cultural Center Association, a group that promotes and supports urban development in Detroit, and the New Center Council Inc., a business-development group, plan to merge, writes the Detroit Free Press. The merged nonprofit will be called Midtown Detroit Inc.
