Fla. Symphony Receives $90-Million Gift

An anonymous donor has given $90-million to the New World Symphony, in Miami Beach, Fla., reports The New York Times.
The gift will support construction of the orchestral academy’s new home, including a 700-seat hall, practice rooms, offices, a park, and media and technical equipment. The organization trains young musicians for a career playing in an orchestra.
