Former Head of Chicago Charity Charged With Theft

The former head of a Chicago charity that helped low-income homeowners pay their mortgages was charged Monday with misusing donations, The Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Rudolph Harper, the former executive director of Organization of the New City, pleaded not guilty to theft of more than $100,000 and misuising charitable trust funds for personal gain.
