Fuel Costs Hit Houston Charities

Rising gas prices have hit the budgets of Houston charities and increased demand for transportation services, reports the Houston Chronicle. For example, the Montgomery County Committee on Aging has experienced a recent increase in ridership for a van service for seniors and disabled people.
