Gates Foundation Joins World Bank on Health-Care Project

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Bank announced plans on Monday to investigate health-care delivery systems and services in Africa, with the aim of attracting new financing for them, reports Reuters.
In total, the two organizations will spend $2.6-million to identify opportunities for businesses to invest in hospitals, clinics, and other health-care providers, as well as to provide advice to such institutions.
Their goal is to attract investments from companies based outside Africa.
