Gates Foundation Stays Connected With Former Employees

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation alumni network, launched in November 2014, helps former employees keep current on foundation news and job opportunities, reports The Wall Street Journal.
The foundation has rehired seven “alumni” since creating the network. Similar systems to connect former employees are also catching on in the corporate world, with companies such as SAP and Nielsen Co. creating them, too.
