Gates Partners With Vietnamese Philanthropist on Health Care

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is partnering with Vietnamese businessman Le Van Kiem to raise $50-million to improve health care in the Southeast Asian country, Forbes reports.
Le has pledged to give $5-million during the next five years, with the Gates Foundation to match those dollars plus any additional donations from other local philanthropists.
As chairman of the Long Thanh Investment & Trading Corp., Le holds interests in real estate development, golf courses, and mining.
