Two Washington nonprofits, the Save Darfur Coalition and Genocide Intervention Network, have merged, according to a news release on Genocide Intervention Network’s Web site. The move establishes the largest anti-genocide organization, with a global membership of more than 800,000 activists, and a network of institutional investors with over $700-billion in assets. The new organization plans to announce its new name in the coming months.
