The J. Paul Getty Trust is adding a section this month to its Web site that will clarify internal facts and figures, including salaries of the trust’s highest-paid officials, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The Getty Trust has been criticized in recent months for a lack of transparency on governance issues. Representatives for the nonprofit group say they hope this move will resolve some of the public’s concerns.
Most of the posted information, including the top five salaries, can be found on the public-disclosure forms required by the Internal Revenue Service, but a minority of organizations make the figures this easily accessible.
