Google Grants — an effort by the search-engine company to donate online advertising to charities — has started a new blog that seeks to help recipients take better advantage of the free ads.
Since creating Google Grants in 2003, the company has donated more than $200-million worth of advertising to more than 4,000 nonprofit organizations. The blog is expected to help Google Grants more effectively communicate with current and prospective grant recipients.
“With more and more people looking for information and joining the program all the time, we want to make sure that we can answer your questions quickly and give you what you need to make your group more successful,” the Google Grants team said in its inaugural post.
