ARTHUR M. BLANK FAMILY FOUNDATION To provide financial assistance to families in crisis: $25,000 to Jewish Family and Career Services (Atlanta).

BLUE FOUNDATION FOR A HEALTHY FLORIDA To provide health care to people who cannot afford it: $770,992 to be divided among nine nonprofit organizations.

ANDREW W. MELLON FOUNDATION To help students affected by the economic recession graduate: $500,000 partial challenge grant to the United Negro College Fund (Fairfax, Va.).

NORTHLAND FOUNDATION For foreclosure counseling for individuals and families: $20,000 to Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (St. Paul)
