Guide Helps North Carolina Groups Find Technology Advice
April 22, 1999 | Read Time: 1 minute
Non-profit organizations in North Carolina can receive free, on-line help in locating technology resources — including low-cost Internet accounts and Web-site-development assistance — through a new Internet site.
The resource directory is interactive and searchable by geographic location, organization name, and type of service. Over 400 resources for non-profit groups in the state are included and more will be added as they become available.
The directory was created by the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits and NCexChange, a non-profit organization that seeks to encourage non-profit groups and poor people to use technology effectively. The A. J. Fletcher Foundation, in Raleigh, N.C., contributed $30,000 for the project.
