Hip-Hop Star Gets a New Role in Haiti

Haiti’s foreign minister named Wyclef Jean as a roving ambassador, reports the Associated Press.

Mr. Jean will promote development within the nation and represent Haiti at events abroad.

Foreign Affairs Minister Reynald Clerisme said, “We have so much to recover from with our bad reputation. With Wyclef, we can gain a lot.”
