Human-Service Groups in Maine Mull Merger

People’s Regional Opportunity Program, in Portland, Me., is considering a merger with Youth Alternatives Ingraham, in South Portland, Me., writes Mainebiz. People’s Regional Opportunity Program provides disadvantaged people with Head Start programs, and heating and housing assistance; while Youth Alternatives Ingraham offers mental-health programs for children and adults. Officials at the two groups say their work often overlaps.
