In Last Decade, Buffett Foundation Funded Big Changes in Birth Control

Through his Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, Warren Buffett has quietly been supporting efforts dedicated to birth control and reproductive health, according to a Bloomberg Business cover story.
Over the past decade, the foundation was been the largest supporter of research on intrauterine devices, considered one of the most effective forms of contraception. It has also supported health-care provider training, social marketing, and funding to help lower the costs to patients.
