Indonesia Threatens to Expel International Charities

The chief of Indonesia’s tsunami-reconstruction program, Kuntoro Mangkusbroto, has threatened to prohibit international charities from working in Aceh province if they do not complete progress reports by June, Reuters reports.
Mr. Mangkusbroto also said that some groups have exaggerated the reconstruction work they have accomplished. Charities did not comment in the story.
