Judge Recommends Release of Islamic-Charity Fund Raiser

A federal judge has backed the release of Abdel-Jabbar Hamdan, a fund raiser for an Islamic charity with alleged terrorist ties, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.
Mr. Hamdan, who worked for the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, has been detained for two years after his arrest on immigration charges. Lawyers from both sides declined to comment.
