Kellogg Starts Project to Strengthen Charities

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation announced it will spend $9.3-million on a project designed to strengthen the ability of its grant recipients to do their work, reports the Battle Creek Enquirer, in Michigan.
The money will create a partnership between the Fieldstone Alliance, in St. Paul, and the Nonprofit Finance Fund, in New York. Those organizations will provide the 800 charities supported by the Battle Creek, Mich., foundation with training, consulting advice, money, and other assistance.
