KQED Imposes Weeklong Furlough

KQED, a public television and radio station in San Francisco, has put in place a weeklong companywide furlough, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. From July 5 through July 12, the organization’s offices will be closed, but programming on its stations will continue as usual. This is the second consecutive year the nonprofit group has implemented such furloughs.
