Kresge Foundation Leader Retires

John Marshall III has retired after 19 years as president of the Kresge Foundation, in Troy, Mich., reports the Chicago Tribune.
Mr. Marshall, 64, made challenge grants a big part of the foundation’s grant-making portfolio and also emphasized environmental building practices.
