February 24, 2013 | Read Time: 1 minute
Occupation: Founder, Health for America
Charitable venture: Ms. Bhat started Health for America in 2012 to encourage young entrepreneurs to figure out better ways to use technology to solve health problems. The group works to identify young leaders and entrepreneurs who are interested in pursuing radical approaches to solving health-care problems. These fellows are then paired with health-care experts and community leaders to develop and test their ideas. Health for America expects to select its first fellows later this year.
Editor’s note: This story has been updated to correct an earlier version about the timing of the selection of Health for America’s fellows.
