Major Hospital in New York Closes

St. Vincent’s Hospital, in New York, closed on Friday, several weeks after filing for bankruptcy and after attempts to merge with other area hospitals failed, reports The Wall Street Journal. The hospital’s closing has left 3,500 hospital workers unemployed.
