Mandel Foundation Picks Brandeis U. President As Next Leader; More Nonprofit Personnel Changes Announced

AARP Foundation (Washington): Appointed Jo Ann Jenkins, chief operating officer at the Library of Congress (Washington), to be president. Ms. Jenkins succeeds Robin Talbert, who has resigned.
African Enterprise (Monrovia, Calif.): Appointed Christopher J. Doyle, president of American Leprosy Missions (Greenville, S.C.), to be executive director. African Enterprise assists people in various African countries with community development, leadership training, and overcoming the effects of war and violence.
California State Summer School Arts Foundation (Los Angeles): Appointed Adrienne Luce, an implementation manager at the Los Angeles County Arts Commission (Los Angeles), to be executive director. Ms. Luce succeeds Joan Newberg, who has resigned.
Crater Lake National Park Trust (Crater Lake, Ore.): Appointed Christine Leusch, development director at the Teton Regional Land Trust (Driggs, Idaho), to be executive director. Ms. Leusch succeeds Jeff Allen, who has resigned.
Des Moines Art Center: Appointed Warren M. Davis, director of business and civic relations at the Art Institute of Chicago, to be director of development and external affairs.
Horizons for Homeless Children (Roxbury, Mass.): Appointed Asa Fanelli, former president of the EF Foundation for Foreign Study (Cambridge, Mass.), to be president.

Old Globe (San Diego): Announced the death of Craig Noel, founding director, on April 3. He was 94.
Partnership in Philanthropy (Chatham, N.J.): Appointed Heather Robinson, program director, to be executive director. Ms. Robinson succeeds Becky Dembo, who plans to retire from this nonprofit group that provides technical assistance and fund-raising services to New Jersey charities.
Resource Alliance (London): Appointed Neelam Makhijani, deputy chief executive officer, to be interim chief executive officer. Ms. Makhijani succeeds Hans Wolters, who has resigned. The Resource Alliance provides fund-raising training and related services.
Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service (Boca Raton, Fla.): Appointed Danielle Hartman, vice president for governance and planning at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (Boca Raton), to be president and chief executive officer.
Youth Villages (Memphis): Appointed Mary Norman, senior vice president of development and communications at the Jane Goodall Institute-USA (Arlington, Va.), to be Georgia development director for this organization, which helps emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families.
