Marin Services for Women Implements Layoffs

Nine employees of the human services group Marin Services for Women in Greenbrae, Calif., have been laid off, according to the Marin Independent Journal. The nonprofit, which provides alcohol- and drug-treatment programs for women and their families, now employs about 40 people. The layoffs will not affect the group’s programs, said officials.
