The Colonial Theatre, in Pittsfield, Mass., and the Berkshire Theatre Festival, in Stockbridge, Mass., plan to merge, reports Berkshire On Stage. While the two theater groups will retain their own boards of trustees, together they will establish another board to unite and oversee the operations of both groups. The organizations’ staffs will be combined into one that will work with both theaters.
