January 11, 2007
A well-known Baltimore church has concluded a deal with a powerful developer that will allow it to receive profits from the management of an entertainment complex, reports The Baltimore Sun.
Bethel African Methodist Church, a regular pit stop for candidates running for city and state political offices, will be given 10 percent of any profits made by the Cordish Company from its management of the city-owned Pier Six entertainment center. The Baltimore Board of Estimates approved the deal yesterday.
