Mental-Health Group Cuts Staff

The Center for Mental Health, in Helena, Montana, has laid of 14 employees and cut the hours of another 14 staff members because the mental-health charity is struggling financially, even while the number of people seeking help from the nonprofit has grown, reports the Helena Independent Record. The move comes less than a year after the state of Montana issued a report that said the group was beset with problems and its staff was overwhelmed.
