Mergers Announced by Charities

Centro Latino de Chelsea (Mass.) and Concillo Hispano (Cambridge, Mass.) have merged to form Centro Latino Inc. The consolidated group will operate out of the Cambridge and Chelsea offices.
Dynamy and Youth Opportunities Upheld, both in Worcester, Mass., have merged and will operate under the name YOU Inc.
H20 Africa Foundation and WaterPartners have merged to form Water.org, in Kansas City, Mo.
Literacy Volunteers of America-Mohawk/Hudson (Albany, N.Y.) and Literacy NENY (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) have merged to form Literacy New York Capital Region, with headquarters in Colonie, N.Y.
Midwest AIDS Prevention Project (Ferndale, Mich.) and Michigan AIDS Fund (Southfield, Mich.) have merged to form Michigan AIDS Coalition with headquarters in Ferndale, Mich.
Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and Prince William Health System (Manassas, Va.) have merged but will continue to operate under separate names.
Planned Parenthood of Connecticut (New Haven, Conn.) and Planned Parenthood of Rhode Island (Providence) are in the process of merging to become Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
Rise (Spring Lake, Minn.) and Family Life Mental Health Center (Coon Rapids, Minn.) have merged but are operating under separate names.
United Way of the Greater Seacoast (Portsmouth, N.H.) and United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley (Boston) have merged. The consolidated organization will continue to operate under separate names.
