New Effort Under Way to Help Fund Raisers Become More Effective
November 17, 2006 | Read Time: 1 minute
A new survey is under way to help nonprofit organizations learn how to better recruit new donors and encourage past contributors to increase their support.
The survey is part of the Fundraising Effectiveness Project, sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, the National Committee on Planned Giving, and the Urban Institute’s Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy.
The survey is expected to provide information in areas not previously studied, such as how institutions deal with donors who have stopped giving.
Organizations may supply information for the research project through the end of the month.
More information on the survey is available here.
