New Museum to Honor Law Enforcement
March 2, 2007
A new museum honoring law-enforcement officials is in the works, reports The Washington Post.
The $80-million museum, to be called the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, will be built mostly underground on a Washington site. It will be open in 2011.
Yesterday, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund began a capital campaign to raise money for the museum, generating almost $30-million so far.
