Alliance for Women in Media (McLean, Va.): Appointed Cary J. Broussard, vice president for communications at the Wyndham Hotel Group (Parsippany, N.J.), to be president.
Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center (Los Angeles): Announced the appointment of Renee White-Stoeckel, associate director of programming, to be executive director of this center for youths. She succeeds Linda Broadous Miles, who has retired.
American Geriatrics Society (New York): Appointed Jennie Chin Hansen, president of the American Association of Retired Persons (Washington), to be chief executive officer. Ms. Hansen succeeds Linda Hiddemen Barondess, who has resigned.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City: Announced the resignation of Michael A. Corriero, executive director. Mr. Corriero plans to serve as an advocate for juvenile-justice reform.
Capital Area Asset Builders (Washington): Appointed Maurita Coley, principal of her own law and media firm, based in Washington, to be executive director of this organization that helps low- and moderate-income people improve their finances.
Foundation Center (New York): Appointed R. Nancy Albilal, director of strategic planning, resource development, and evaluation at the City of Newark’s Department of Child and Family Well-Being (N.J.), to be vice president for development.
Kentucky Historical Society Foundation (Frankfort): Appointed Dana B. Cox, director of alumni relations for the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the U. of Kentucky (Lexington), to be executive director.
National Fund for Workforce Solutions (Boston): Appointed Fred Dedrick, deputy secretary for work-force development for Pennsylvania (Harrisburg), to be executive director.
Neighborhood Funders Group (Washington): Appointed Melissa Johnson, field director at the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (Washington), to be executive director. Ms. Johnson succeeds Bettye Brentley, who has resigned.
Philadelphia Museum of Art: Appointed Kelly M. O’Brien, interim director of development and former director of individual giving, to be executive director of development.
Scholarship America (Minneapolis): Appointed Lauren Segal, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Twin Cities United Way (Minneapolis), to be president and chief executive officer.

U. of Florida at Gainesville: Appointed Thomas J. Mitchell, vice chancellor of university advancement at the U. of California at Irvine and president of that university’s foundation, to be vice president for development and alumni affairs.
U. of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism (Los Angeles): Appointed David Westphal, former Washington editor at McClatchy Newspapers (Sacramento), to be editor-in-chief of the California HealthCare Foundation Center for Health Reporting.
Van Wezel Foundation (Sarasota, Fla.): Appointed Norman Olshansky, president of NFP Consulting Resources (Sarasota), to be president and chief executive officer of this group that raises money for the Van Wezel performing-arts hall.
Virginia Symphony (Norfolk): Appointed Eric Borenstein, executive director of the Erie Philharmonic (Pa.), to be executive director.

Blue Shield of California Foundation (San Francisco): Appointed Cecilia Oregón Echevarría, a senior program officer for health and human services at the California Endowment (Los Angeles), to be program officer for health care and coverage, and Christine Maulhardt, research associate at Harder + Company Community Research (Sacramento), to be public-affairs associate.
Cleveland Foundation: Appointed Ani Bagdasarian, senior consulting associate at Cambridge Associates (Boston), to be presidential liaison for special initiatives; Jim Nichols, a reporter at the Plain Dealer (Cleveland), to be senior communications officer; and Judy Salm, vice president at Citi Global Markets (Boston), to be donor-relations officer.
Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation (Morristown, N.J.): Appointed Christopher J.
