Donors who want to plan how and when they should give to charities have a new online resource, courtesy of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
The organization has created a new Web site called Change the World with a Giving and Wise Heart. And while the name is a mouthful, it has a simple goal: to help donors make better decisions about giving.
Donors can use the site to help identify worthy charities. They can also learn about ways they can support charities, from matching gifts and payroll giving to donating their credit-card points and even regifting.
