Nonprofit Radio Station Faces Cuts

The Pacifica Foundation, a Berkeley, Calif., public radio organization, has laid off at least seven employees at the station KPFA, in Berkeley, Calif., writes the Berkeley Daily Planet. The foundation holds the licenses of five radio stations across the country and provides content for 150 affiliated radio stations.
