NYU Seeks to Return $1.25-Million Gift

New York University plans to return a $1.25-million gift from the family of a former student who on Tuesday pleaded guilty to bank and wire fraud, reports The Chronicle of Higher Education.
However, due to competing requests from the family, federal prosecutors, and other parties, the university has asked a federal bankruptcy judge to determine who should receive the money.
