OBITUARY: ANTON RUPERT

South African businessman and philanthropist Anton Rupert, founder of the Swiss luxury-goods business Richemont, died on Thursday, reports Reuters. In partnership with former South African President Nelson Mandela and the late Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, Mr. Rupert, 89, co-founded the Peace Parks Foundation. The foundation aims to create “Peace Parks” to allow the free travel of animals and humans across country borders within the parks.
