Richard A. Frank, a past president of Population Services International, died April 20 at an assisted-living facility in Washington, D.C., writes The Washington Post. He was 77.
Mr. Frank spent 21 years as chief executive of Population Services International, a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization that oversees global health initiatives targeting malaria, childhood survival, HIV, and reproductive health in 69 countries with a $500-million annual budget. He retired in 2008.
