Oklahoma State Gift Stirs Controversy

A $165-million gift to Oklahoma State University’s athletics program for a new stadium in Stillwater is upsetting the hundreds of residents who will be forced to move in order to build the complex, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Many of the people affected are students or retired people who say they can’t afford to move. Both the oilman Boone Pickens, who made the gift, and the university, however, say they still back the building plan.
