Older Nonprofit Workers’ Hopes and Fears

According to a survey of 266 current and former nonprofit workers by Building Movement Project, Civic Ventures, Clohesy Consulting:

60% of nonprofit workers age 55 or older expect to stay in the paid work force until at least age 70.

63% worry about their financial security when they leave their current job.

8% say they are seeking a high level of responsibility in their next career move.

60% worry about maintaining health insurance.
