Oscar Gift Bag Nets $45,100 for United Way

George Clooney’s donated Oscar goodie bag earned $45,100 for United Way of America in an online auction, reports Internet Broadcasting Systems.
The actor, who won an Academy Award for his role in Syriana, is a member of the Board of Trustees of the charity. The organization will put the proceeds in its hurricane relief fund.
