Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Washington): Announced the death of Carol Fraser Fisk, deputy executive director. Ms. Fisk died January 7 of ovarian cancer.

CAPA (Columbus, Ohio): Appointed Kimber Perfect, a consultant based in Columbus, to be vice president of advancement. CAPA presents performing artists and classic films.

Children’s Memorial Hospital (Chicago): Appointed Michael J. Bates, executive director of major gifts at the Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago), to be director of major gifts.

Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (New York): Appointed David Chancey, campus administrator and executive vice president of administration, budgeting, and planning at Felician College (Lodi, N.J.), to be executive director. This nonprofit organization is affiliated with the Direct Marketing Association (New York).
