Botanic Gardens Conservation International (Wayne, Pa.): Appointed Rhonda Poe, director of the capital campaign at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, to be executive director.

CDC Foundation (Atlanta): Appointed Paula Harris Jasina, finance director for the Cobb County Y.W.C.A. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (Mass.): Charles Davis Hollister, senior scientist in the geology and geophysics department and vice-president, died on August 23 at the age of 63.

Xavier U. of Louisiana (New Orleans): Appointed LaJuana Gauff Chenier, coordinator of alumni and professional affairs for the College of Pharmacy, to be director of the alumni fund and alumni affairs.
