American Association of State Colleges and Universities (Washington): Appointed Constantine (Deno) W. Curris, president of Clemson U. (S.C.), to be president, effective October 1. He succeeds James B. Appleberry, who resigned last November.
American Institute for Cancer Research (Washington): Appointed Jeffrey R. Prince, an author and former senior vice-president for communications at the National Restaurant Association (Washington), to be vice-president for communications.
Arkansas State U. (State University): Appointed Steve Owens, executive director of advancement at U. of Mississippi (Oxford), to be vice-president for university advancement.
