Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales (Center Valley, Pa.): Appointed Thomas L. Campbell, director of development and alumni relations, to be vice-president for development.
American Cancer Society (Atlanta): Appointed A. Gregory Donaldson, senior director of corporate communications at Humana Inc. (Louisville, Ky.), to be national vice-president of corporate communications in the New York office, and Daniel E. Smith, staff director of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, to be vice-president of federal- and state-government affairs in the Washington office.
American Institute of Chemical Engineers (New York): Appointed Beth S. Nelkin, director of development at the New York Women’s Foundation, to be director of development.

U. of Illinois at Chicago: Appointed Lisa M. Dietlin, former senior advancement director for the College of Science and Arts at Michigan Technological U. (Houghton), to be assistant dean of development for the College of Business Administration.
Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research (New York): Appointed Richard G. Fox, a professor of anthropology at Washington U. (St. Louis), to be president, effective January 1.
WETA (Arlington, Va.): Appointed N. William Jarvis, senior vice-president for business development and general counsel, to be executive vice-president for the Greater Washington Broadcast Group, and Joseph Widoff, senior vice-president for technical and support services and chief financial officer, to be chief operating officer. WETA also announced the resignation of Linwood Lloyd, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, who left to start a communications consulting firm.

World Food Prize Foundation (Des Moines): Appointed Kenneth M. Quinn, former U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, to be executive director, effective in January. He will succeed Herman C. Kilpper, who is retiring at that time.
