AMIT (New York): Appointed Arnold Gerson, executive director of the annual campaign at UJA-Federation of Greater New York, to be executive vice president. AMIT operates nearly 65 schools and programs for Israeli youths.

Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nurses (Washington): Appointed Karen S. Tucker Thomas, executive director of the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (Alexandria, Va.), to be executive director.

Des Moines Metro Opera (Indianola, Ind.): Announced the retirement of Jerilee M. Mace, executive director.
