Alliance for Regional Stewardship (Denver): Appointed David Thornburgh, executive director of the Pennsylvania Economy League (Philadelphia), to be president and chief executive director. The organization will move its headquarters to Philadelphia, effective in June.

American Red Cross, Rhode Island Chapter (Providence): Appointed John E. Holt, executive director of the Interfaith Counseling Center (Providence), to be chief executive officer.

Ball State U. (Muncie, Ind.): Appointed Ben Hancock, vice president for institutional advancement at Albion College (Mich.), to be vice president for university advancement, effective July 1.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (Atlanta): Appointed Cyndi Court, vice president for planned and major gifts, to be senior vice president of resource development, and Lorraine Howerton, director of government relations and external relations at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (Washington), to be senior vice president of government relations, based in Rockville, Md.

City of Hope (Duarte, Calif.): Appointed David M. Carter, vice president for finance and chief financial officer at the United Nations Foundation and the Better World Fund (Washington), to be vice president for finance and administration, and Ken Mintzer, director of the Greater Los Angeles Zone at the Jewish National Fund, to be vice president of development.

Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts (Philadelphia): Appointed Natalye Paquin, chief operating officer of the Philadelphia School District, to be executive vice president and chief operating officer, and Christopher P. Woehrle, acting senior vice president of institutional advancement at Drexel U. (Philadelphia), to be vice president of development.

Liberation Programs (Norwalk, Conn.): Appointed Alan Mathis, president and chief executive officer of the Lower Eastside Service Center (New York), to be chief executive officer. Liberation Programs provides substance-abuse treatment and prevention services.
